Track 1 Session 3
1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday June 20, 2007

Introduction to Design for Six Sigma

As our global customers continue to express requirements for breakthrough level improvements in reliability and robustness, it is clear that a strategic shift from the current reactive domain in reliability methods to a preemptive approach is needed. Design for Six Sigma is a key enabler in achieving order-of-magnitude levels of reliability and robustness improvements. This presentation will be a technical interchange session designed to generate open dialogue with attendees to discuss strategic deployment of Design for Six Sigma as a preemptive reliability process. The session moderator will lead the attendees in a two-way exchange of experiences in planning and executing Design for Six Sigma initiatives.
