Exposing Hidden Factory Reliability: Beyond the Plant Information System

This session presents an economic methodology for collecting the hidden factory reliability data for machines and equipment. The method is a proactive, systematic approach to take advantage of sales and service calls to uncover machine or equipment issues that are not discernable from Plant Information Systems. This includes a contingency for addressing the perception of machine or equipment performance that can often overshadow documented performance.
