1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday June 9, 2009
Air Force Flight Test Center Coding and Characterization
of R&M Data
Within the U.S. Air Force and Department of Defense,
reliability and maintainability evaluations are performed on the systems under
procurement. This presentation will describe the methods used by the Air Force Flight
Test Center to encode R&M data for storage into a database. These codes have been
developed to address the changing environments over the last 40 years to address not
only hardware failures, but to include built-in test and software as part of the
evaluations as well.
