Reliability Assessment of a New Aircraft Belt Loader

This presentation describes the results obtained from a successful reliability program developed for the RampSnake, a belt loader equipment designed for optimizing airport ground operations. The reliability program included accelerated life testing procedures of prototype vehicles at different stress levels, including laboratory and real life testing under extreme weather and loading conditions. Full system and single component evaluations were included. Detailed root cause analyses and field data interpretation also will be presented.
