Awards Dinner
2009 Applied Reliability Symposium
June 18,
2009
in San Diego,
California USA
At this year's Applied Reliability Symposium in San Diego, California, the Awards Dinner on Thursday night gave attendees the chance to mingle with colleagues and cast their votes for the best presentations. We were pleased to present Reliability Leadership Awards and Excellent Presentations Awards, and to recognize two new Certified Reliability Professionals.

Reliability Leadership Awards
We presented the Reliability
Leadership Award to two companies, John Deere
and Ingersoll Rand, in order to recognize their
efforts in the area of Design for Reliability. Both
companies understood the need for knowledgeable
engineers to drive the DFR process.
We would like to thank both companies for
setting examples of world-class DFR strategies for others to
follow.
This Year's New Certified Reliability Professionals
Congratulations to the two candidates who
achieved the CRP certification this year. To achieve this elite
level of reliability certification, candidates must gain, apply
and demonstrate unquestionable expertise in the field of
Reliability Engineering. CRPs are distinguished reliability
professionals, and this year there were two candidates who
successfully achieved the certification, Mark Turner of
Flextronics International and Lynnwood Yates of Andromeda Systems, Inc. We were proud
to present them with their certifications, and congratulate them
for their achievement. To learn more about the CRP program,
