2009 Keynote Address

Glenn Baker has worked for John Deere for more than 30 years, including experiences in their Parts Division, Agricultural Equipment Division, Construction and Forestry Division and Power Systems Division. He is currently the Director of Engineering, Technology and Quality Services supporting all of John Deere’s operating divisions globally.

Glenn began his career as an Industrial Engineer, but has held numerous positions in manufacturing engineering, manufacturing supervision, new product development and quality management. Most recently, he has held the positions of Director, Supply Management; Manufacturing Manager, Tractor Operations; and General Manager, Engine Works.

Glenn is a 1977 graduate of Yale University and holds an MBA from the University of Dubuque. He has recently served as a Director on the Cedar Valley United Way Board and has previously been an Advisor for Junior Achievement and Chairman of the Yale Alumni Schools Committee.
