Designing an Effective DVP&R Process for Ensuring Product Reliability
An effective DVP is a critical step to ensuring product reliability. An effective DVP should cover all the known failure modes discovered in the past, and all the potential failure modes identified in the DFMEA. It should also stimulate possible unknown failure modes. In order to achieve these objectives, tests listed in the DVP must reflect customer usage, environmental conditions and load. In this presentation, important topics on designing an effective DVP&R will be discussed
Key Words: DFMEA, DVP&R, Reliability Testing, Customer Usage.
