Application of Reliability Tools for a
Process Plant – CUF Experience
Being a utility and feed stock
supplier to many of the downstream customer plants, the
reliability for CUF is extremely important. CUF has adopted an
integrated approach to achieve world-class plant reliability
within a definite time frame. This includes the implementation
of a comprehensive reliability and integrity management system,
application of reliability tools such as FMEA, RCM, RCFA, RBD,
Defect elimination and bad actor management, Basic Equipment
Care (BEC), etc. This presentation describes the lessons learned
and success stories in applying these reliability tools
effectively.
