Address OPI & VIP Issues
- Identification of the OPI & VIP Instrumentation & Control issues which became the bottleneck for OPI & VIP progress.
Fit for Optimization
- High percentage auto controller to support Advanced Process Controller (APC) to perform at its optimum.
Plant Reliability
- Maintenance has direct focus to resolve the outstanding instrument based layer.
- Reduction of reworks and priority 1 & 2 notifications.
- Reduction of unplanned plant breakdowns due to instrumentation issues.
Align Maintenance Strategy
- Condition based monitoring as it identifies and signals the problematic controllers before failures.
- Enhance PM vs. REM ratio maintenance to achieve PM% world class standard.
- Reduction of maintenance cost as overall. (REM maintenance cost is higher than PM maintenance cost.)
