The Comprehensive Qualitative-Quantitative Reliability Importance Analysis of Complex Technical Systems on Example of the Marine Propulsion Plant
This presentation shows the requirement of developing the current state-of-the-art of reliability theory, mainly reliability importance analysis. It will be concerned with the necessity of developing theoretical expressions and methods that enable quantitative and qualitative assessment of complex technical systems (CTS) with respect to reliability importance of components and groups of components. The new approach to importance analysis uses comprehensive (quantitative and qualitative) analysis, expert knowledge for subjective probability analysis and extension of importance criteria for maintainability, spare parts stock, economy and safety of system operation.
