Reliability Engineering: Management Overview and Vision

Even though reliability methods can be "esoteric," reliability has a direct impact on the financial performance of the company! Therefore, it is necessary for some of the specialized concepts and capabilities of reliability engineering to be communicated effectively with managers and other individuals in the organization.

This tutorial, geared toward both managers and practitioners, begins by examining basic reliability concepts through examples tied directly to financial consequences. It examines reliability and economics from both a product development and maintenance perspective.
